The Company’s enterprises have been audited by the international retailer Auchan. Four production sites have been checked within two days.
The main areas of the audit have been as follows: checking the state of buildings, premises, and equipment; technical equipment and adherence to process requirements; and compliance with the requirements of the food safety system (FSS) and social audit.
The production of finished products has been checked step by step, from incoming inspection of raw materials to packaging and transportation conditions.
Social audit, which is a mandatory criterion for cooperation with Auchan-Russia, is new for us. Its checklist has 4 control points: employment of children and punishment practices, standard working time and remuneration amount, and workplace safety and general working conditions.
The audit revealed no critical nonconformities for any of the more than 120 checklist questions.
Compliance with standards was at the 90% level (max 100%). We have successfully passed the audit, and now we can sell our products in the Auchan international chain.
