At the end of November, the Made on Don voluntary certification system celebrated its 5th anniversary. A ceremonial event was held at the DonExpocentre, attended by Vasily Golubev, Rostov Region Governor. He told those who gathered about the region development plans and then presented representatives of 35 enterprises with certification marks.
According to the regional head, the idea behind the Made on Don program is that products with this label are a kind of quality standard and therefore are in demand. Residents of the Rostov region prefer products from Don manufacturers, since one of the conditions for participation in the voluntary certification system is the implementation of international safety and quality standards.
Mr. Golubev noted that companies participating in the certification system will be further supported, including through promotion at various fairs and exhibitions. This applies not only to events in the Rostov region but also to those taking place outside the Don region. One example is CIAL 2018 International Exhibition of Food Industry Products, which took place from October 22 to 25 in Paris, where biscuits under the Morozov Confectionery Products trademark were presented.
